When it comes to library security and inventory management, there is a lot of misinformation about what is the best technology for libraries. The two most widely used technologies are Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Electromagnetic (EM) security systems with barcode item identification. During this presentation, Dave Rosen, Sentry Custom Security, will discuss the strengths and challenges of both RFID and EM systems. He will also discuss the relative reliability and efficiencies of RFID & EM self check-out systems. Questions are not only welcomed they are encouraged

Presenter Dave Rosen is the Library Sales Manager and has been with Sentry Custom Security for over 20 years. Sentry Custom Security provides security and information services to school, public, and academic libraries worldwide.
