On Monday, March 16, the 30th Annual Long Island Archives Conference: Embracing Change, will be held at Farmingdale State College Campus Center from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Conference speakers will discuss the multitude of ways in which we go about addressing change and what it means to genuinely embrace it. The speakers are: Robert Anen, Project Archivist, Long Island Library Resources Council
Dee Bowers, Archives Manager, Center for Brooklyn History
Amy Folk, Manager of collections, Oysterponds Historical Society & Southold Historical Museum, Town of Southold Historian
Natiba Guy-Clement, Director of Special Collections, Center for Brooklyn History
Marie Penny, Archivist, Planting Fields Foundation
Online registration for the conference is available until Monday, March 16, and tickets are open to non-members as well.
