The talk will address challenges in new construction and major renovations for archives, libraries, and museums. It will cover collaborating with architects and engineers, specifying collection storage needs such as object housing, storage furniture, and space arrangement, and will highlight the importance of clear communication.  


 

About the presenter:

Tim White retired from the Yale Peabody Museum in 2023 after serving 20 years as Director of Collections & Research. As a Collections Consultant, he advises libraries, historical societies, and museums on capital improvements and planning collection moves.
