  • Zoom Meeting

  • Any staff member of a LILRC Institutional Member or a LILRC Retired Member
  • For staff and members of any other councils.

The Economic Opportunity Council of Suffolk, Inc. (EOC) is a Non-Profit Organization that is based out of Patchogue. EOC is a multiservice agency serving all of Suffolk County with our numerous programs all of which promote self-sustainability within the community.

Please join us for a short presentation, presented by Rich Dellasso, Outreach Coordinator of the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program as we discuss what can be offered via the SSVF Program and how we can better support veterans and their families. For seven years, Rich has had the honor of serving as the Outreach Coordinator working with veterans who are either homeless or on the verge of homelessness toward getting sustainable housing.

While housing is ultimately our goal and priority, our work doesn’t stop there. We have several channels through which veterans can get all services that may not be available to them. Also, we have an employment specialist as well as a housing counselor and healthcare navigator on our SSVF team. We want to make sure that we are touching all the bases which can help people to succeed once we step out of the picture.

Feel free to come with questions pertaining to the subject of veterans.

This program will include a 30 minutes presentation and the remaining time will be open for questions and discussion.
