The 24th Annual Archives Conference will feature speakers from Preservation Long Island, Brooklyn Historical Society, Newsday, Coe Hall (Planting Fields Foundation), Suffolk County Historical Society and additional prominent archival repositories.

The conference will begin with three panel discussions: marketing through publications (books and other print media); social media/blogging; and exhibitions. 

Following the panel discussions, keynote speaker Joe Festa of Fenimore Art Museum in Cooperstown, NY, will  discuss the multi-directional marketing strategy incorporating their collection of correspondence between Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr.  This includes: several exhibitions, a published catalog, a website, and education resources that were built around the 35 letters between the two Founding Fathers leading up to their fatal duel in 1804. 

Registration will begin at 9:30am and will include a full breakfast at 10:00am. 

A certificate for 4 Professional Development Hours (.4 CEU's) will be emailed after the workshop.
