Call for Student Poster Session Participants

What is a poster session?

A poster session is an opportunity for several presenters to share information about a research problem, project, or study with many colleagues by developing a display on a set of poster boards. Several posters are available at one time with the presenters standing by their table to talk informally about the project with interested participants. The poster may include printed materials, graphics, and additional handouts. The session will last one hour and presenters should remain close to their displays for questions and discussion during this time.

You are invited to submit proposals for a poster presentation at the LILRC Conference at Dowling College in Oakdale on Friday, October 24, 2008 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Proposals should be submitted by Monday, September 22th, 2008. Please click here for further information and an application form (in pdf format).

A sub committee of the Conference Advisory Committee will review these proposals and you will be notified of acceptance by September 29th, 2008.
