Long Island Expressway to Exit 62 North (Nicolls Road, Route 97). Continue along Nicolls Road approximately 9 miles (cross over Route 25-Middle Country Road and Route 347-Nesconset Highway, pass entrance to South Campus) until you come to a sign for the Main Entrance for the Stony Brook campus.

Turn left onto the main entrance road, staying in the middle lane. At the traffic light, go straight and then turn left into the multi-level parking garage adjacent to the Administration Building.

Rates are $1.50 per hour; maximum of $7.50 per day. (other parking alternatives)

Northern State Parkway east to end (it merges with Routes 454 and 347). Past the State office complex, bear left at the fork following Route 347 north to Port Jefferson. Continue along Route 347 until Nicolls Road (Route 97 North). Left onto Nicolls Road and follow directions from Main Entrance above.
For those seeking an alternate route: We are north of Route 25/Jericho Turnpike/Middle Country Road and Route 347/Nesconset Highway; just south of Route 25A; west of Route 112/Patchogue-Port Jefferson Road and Route 83/Patchogue-Mount Sinai Road.

From Parking Garage to LILRC office: Exit garage at Level Two using direct pedestrian bridge to the Administration Building. Walk through the hallway and lobby onto the quad. Melville Library is ahead and slightly to the right. Use the bank of elevators* near the North Reading Room at the right end. We are on the Fifth Floor East. Turn left upon leaving the elevator. We are in the office with the white stucco walls curving into the hallway.

*If those elevators are not working, take the elevator at the other end of the building. On the fifth floor, turn right and walk through the hallway to our office.
